I don’t know if there’s any way a debut author can (or should) totally keep their
cool during their first book release, but there is a lot a new author can do to make sure your freakout doesn’t derail your success.
Step one: Prepare a marketing plan as well as you can.
Step two: Execute the plan and track the results.
Step three: Modify the plan future efforts based on what you learn.
These three steps are what the Tactics and Trials column is all about.
