Supplements Cheat Sheet


A 2018 review published in the Journal of American Medicine found that the

greatest risk of adulterated supplements (ones containing unapproved pharmaceutical ingredients) came from 3 categories of supplements:


  • Weight loss
  • Proteins (like collagen) or muscle building
  • Sexual enhancement


What are the risks of adulterated supplements? 


According to the study authors, there’s a potential to cause serious adverse health effects, trigger underlying conditions, and interact negatively with other medications. Not good...
